WeiterlesenAnother month, another dose of active community craic! We’re back again with another ride so c’mon and meet us at @nativecoffeeni at 6:15pm on the 28th of August and have some fun! This month we have @s.sentif on the decks provided and moved so graciously as always by @bang_bike_belfast 🚴🚴 Our poster was brought to us in the form of the second instalment of @philsimonillustration art, he says, “I wanted to illustrate the distinct shape of Native Coffee, who host the start of our monthly rides ( and hosted some lovely sessions over the recent Fleadh) and go back to roots a bit - using brushed ink and pens to create the illustration and text, and then digitally cleaning them up and adding colour.

This months poster was brought to us by a new to us artist who hasn’t done a poster for us yet, @bethanysmillican she had this to say, “I love making posters and I work in both digital and traditional mediums - most recently I am doing everything by hand because my Apple Pencil is broken!

Weiterlesen🚨Cycling and Walking Scheme Consultation 🚨 New plans for a cycle lane and improved pedestrian crossings running along part of the Cavehill Road, the Limestone Road and York Street (to the station) are out for the first stage of the consultation process. North Belfast currently has no safe cycling infrastructure and this could be the start! The consultation is an opportunity to suggest design changes and we urge people to take the opportunity to do so.
